  6、Assembly test and installation

    6.1 If current transformer is mounted,  be open circuit operation is not permitted on secondary side.

    6.2 to ensure the accurary of thermometer, the mercury thermometer pocket shall be filled with oil.

    6.3 The determination of oil surface temperature shall depend on oil level indication of conservator, the ambient temperature at that circumstance shall be set to be+15℃.

    6.4 Transformer oil shall not be mixed. If so, the comparison test shall be conducted. And only when the results meets operation requirements, it’s allowed to do so.

    6.5 the following tests shall be conducted ahead of the rectifer transformer putting into service.

    6.5.1 the DC resistance value of windings shall conform to data brought forth in technical documents for delivery. DC resistance value of LV winding is low, better to use step-down testing method.

    6.5.2 Voltage ratio to be meausured on each tapping position

    6.5.3 insulation resistance (including branches of LV side) obsorption ratio and loss tangent shall be measured.

    6.5.4 Insulation test shall be conducted, whose applied voltage value shall be lower than the data in test report. Refer to Transformer Operation Regulation.

    6.5.5 No-load test

    6.5.6 OLTC and forced oil cooling system shall be tested according to each operation manual.

    6.6 during installation of rectifier transformer, attention shall be paid to sealing condition of secondary terminals, esp. The secondary terminals can not bear machnical stress.

    6.7 for rectifier transformer with saturable reactor, the transformer shall be placed on a solid base to avoid resonance vibration.

    6.8 to mount rating plate, valves etc. on HV side for convenient sake.

    7 attentions during operation

    7.1 transformer oil shall be prosodically examined to check oil quality and any bubbles exists.

    7.2 the ascending flanged base shall be air exhausted periodically.

    7.3 the inspection of transformer under service shall be conducted in power failure. If to exam in transformer
